Question of the Day:

How concerned are you about global warming? Do you believe it's possible to reverse the climate trend?

Global warming is an issue, with the ice burgs melting and polar bears dying. My greatest concern is what will happen to the animals who thrive in the cool climates. What happens when there isn't any more cool climate?
Still in Kansas. Today I went to a play with my family and it was very good, it was produced by a local play theatre. It was very cute! I ran this morning and thanks goodness, it was moderately cool. I liked that.

We just got back to my aunts house and we got ice cream at Wendy's! It was so good, I have not have ice cream in the longest time!

Today I am in Kansas, with my sister Holiday and my mom visiting my Great Aunt Joan. The day has been good, and very very relaxing except for the heat wave that has made the weather about 100 degrees!

Today we went to two botanical gardens, and it was a pleasant experience. At one of them there was this pond and turtles came up and said hello to us, it was about 10 turtle on the edge of the pond coming towards us, some bigger and some just baby turtles. I'm not sure, but I think they were expecting to be fed!

The next one we went to had all these delicious smelling herbs, like rosemary, chocolate, and mint herbs. In the garden there was a Butterfly Greenhouse, and it was beautiful with all these various butterflies all around. There were butterflies everywhere and it was truly a sight to see. We saw a couple there in nice clothes and realized that they got married and were holding a reception there! In the guestbook they said they got married in town, and under that we said congratulations, and then our information and a sweet :D

Kansas is really nice and we went to a quaint mexican place where we indulged in fried ice cream, (but it wasn't really fried which was a bummer since i've had the real thing in my hometown :( )

It was a beautiful day, besides me sweating like a pig!

HI

right, now i am in kansas sitting in my great aunt's kitchen/dinning room area with a black cat rubbing my feet and life feels pretty good:)
for some reason in the midwest it seems so much more peaceful then anywhere else. it seems like everyone wants to say hello to you and be kind (besides a rather rude waitress we encountered)
me my mom and my sister holiday are going to go crabapple picking where we are sure to get some delicious apples!
talk to you later:)
